A new, unpatched local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Linux kernel allows unprivileged local attackers to gain root privileges on almost all widely used
Linux distributions – including Ubuntu 24.04.4, RHEL 10.1, Fedora 44 and others. A working proof-of-concept is already publicly available. Immediate action is strongly recommended.
